MANGANESE PHOSPHATE

Manganese phosphate is a chemical conversion treatment designed for applications that require a highly porous and durable surface, especially in components subjected to friction, mechanical loads, and continuous lubrication. At Chousa, we apply this treatment as part of surface protection solutions focused on improving functional performance and extending the service life of critical parts.

This process generates a coarse crystalline structure, significantly more porous than other types of phosphates, allowing for excellent lubricant oil retention and superior performance under metal-to-metal contact conditions.

Characteristics

  • Coarse and highly porous crystalline structure, superior to other phosphates
  • Coating weights between 10 and 40 g/m², depending on application requirements
  • High capacity to retain large volumes of lubricating oils
  • Excellent performance in components subjected to friction and mechanical loads
  • Good bath service life, although with higher sludge generation, a characteristic of the process
