Zinc Flake (Organometallic)

LAURENTBLACK®

Organometallic base + black topcoat

Description

LAURENTBLACK® is an organometallic coating system developed for iron and steel parts that require high corrosion protection together with a black finish of high technical and aesthetic value. Its Dark Grey base combines zinc and aluminum flakes in a thin, uniform film, ideal for bulk-treated parts processed by immersion, centrifugation, and thermal curing.

Its fully chromium-free formulation offers a safe and efficient solution for demanding industrial applications. Thanks to its low thickness, from 5 to 12 microns, it protects parts without compromising dimensional tolerances while also avoiding hydrogen embrittlement, a key advantage in steel components subject to mechanical stress.

The system can be complemented with LAURENTBLACK® Top Coat, a black organic-based finish with built-in lubrication, especially suited for threaded parts that require friction coefficient control. Applicable by Dip-Spin or Spray, this top coat can achieve up to 720 hours of salt spray resistance, providing a durable, functional, and reliable finish for multiple industrial applications.
