About Us

HISTORY

In 1958, Roberto Chousa founded Chousa SRL with a clear vision: to protect metal parts against corrosion and support the growth of Argentina’s industrial sector.

We began with electrolytic systems, providing solutions to the booming automotive industry. Over time, we evolved by incorporating technologies such as zinc flake coatings and self-locking patches, always focused on adding value to our customers’ products.

In 2012, amid a challenging economic environment, we took a key step in our history: we developed our own coating technology, LAURENTCOAT®, a zinc-flake system that combines maximum corrosion protection with versatility and production efficiency.

Our expertise and leadership in the automotive industry opened new doors for us: wind and solar energy, oil & gas, agriculture, water infrastructure, and more. Today, we design and produce innovative coatings that meet the mechanical, chemical, and environmental demands of every project.

We continue writing our story every day — driven by innovation and focused on the future.
